Preserve the concerts, the recordings, the moments.

A memorial archive of the live history of Glen Hansard, The Frames and The Swell Season — built by fans, for fans. Every night that can still be reconstructed belongs here: setlists, tapes, photographs, ticket stubs and the memories of the people who were in the room.

Beyond the concerts

Not everything belongs to a concert

Interviews, soundchecks, radio sessions, busking, backstage moments and photographs whose night nobody remembers. They are held in the archive with their context intact — including the material still waiting to be identified.

None of it has been deposited yet. The archive knows where and when these performances happened; holding what survives of them is the work still ahead.

The media archive

Still missing

Somewhere there is a MiniDV tape of a night nobody else recorded.

1,255 known performances have no surviving recording in the archive at all. If a tape, MiniDisc, phone, hard drive or shoebox of photographs has been sitting in a drawer, it can still be preserved.
