Alongside these, the archive keeps collaborations, guest appearances, benefit shows, busking and other related material — including footage nobody has yet been able to place.
How it works
Concerts are the backbone. Each performance has a permanent page holding its date, venue, setlist, recordings, photographs, sources and the memories of people who were there. Concert data begins with Setlist.fm and is corrected by contributors; the original imported value is never silently overwritten.
Uploaded material is preserved as sent — the original file is the archival master, and a separate copy is made for playback. Provenance, checksums and source notes travel with it, so the archive can move to another storage provider decades from now without losing what it knows.
There are no comment threads here, and no follower counts. Memories may be quietly acknowledged with a single reaction, and nothing is ranked by popularity.
